D. PHARM. (2 YEAR PROGRAM)

ELIGIBILITY

The applicant should have qualified every recognised Board of Higher Education with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in the 10+2 Science Stream exam in the aggregate of the three subjects notably:

  • PHYSICS (essential subject)
  • Chemistry (essential subject)
  • Biology/ Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Informatics/ Computer Science (any one of these)

ADMISSIONS

Admissions are based on the university’s criteria and are made in two ways:

  • Through the admission, exam carried out by the Govt. Around Uttar Pradesh (UPSEE).
  • Directly to vacant seats or by the merit-based management quota in the 10+2 examination.

CURRICULUM

The 2 year D. Pharm program has been split into 2 years and includes workshops, tutorials, practical classes, seminars and projects etc. In addition to industrial training and instructional tours etc. as specified in the guidance and evaluation schemes and executive orders provided from time to time by the technical board. The program will also include, as the BTE (Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh) specifies from time to time, other curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities.

It is obligatory to pass in individual subjects – English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics.
